That's an old uncompleted fanart i restored and decided to upload.
It's about a very unknown book Switchers of Kate Thompson
Together another unknown book (Tiger, Tiger of Melvin Burgess ) it's the one that made me love animals and fantasy. I read it when i was very little, i'm happy because not much time ago i managed to contact and exchange a pair of words with mr. Burgess
However
Switchers is a single novel about childs that turn themselves in animals by will.
There is a science-fiction theme too, but i was fascinated by the whole concept.
And here there is a small spoiler scene of the ending
(they realize at some point that can changes even in mytological animals)
It's a very pretty old book that i suggest to read (as many maaaaaany others XD)
PLEASE, IF YOU FAVE IT, COMMENT IT !!!

I loved Switchers!I read the book a few years back...recently I discovered that it's a trilogy and not a stand alone novel anymore...I really want to read the rest of the books!
I had never read or suspected before it was a trilogy!! I've seen on wikipedia now but i've took care to not peep and get spoiler.
I don't know when but i'm surely going to find the other two books, because the first book (together that other novel of tigers, that i also managed to contact the author and he replied me back) was a major shaping into my passion and love for animals.
Really thanks for having gave me such info! x3
No problem,I'm happy you're so thrilled about it!!!I was quite astonished too when I found out,but sadly I haven't purchased the books yet. From what I saw on ebay, the whole trilogy exists in one-book format and it was actually quite reasonable(around 9 euro new).
And thanks again to have let me know of it x3
Let me know if they're any good!
BTW: They're both nice for style and plot, but not perfect.
First of all the three books are of different style/themes.
The first is fantasy/science-fiction
The second is very close to be an Urban Fantasy
The third it's basically an Irish Fantasy.
Said that, i could be tempted to say that the first book could have been conclusive and stop.
Mostly because the second book it's probably the most "weak", having this clichè Urban Fantasy.
The third one is a bit better, because focus lots on a mystery theme.
And i could adds that has a pair of very great points (as a lovely female rat supporting character).
The ending of the third book... it's a good one, it's true that some point on the ending is a bit rushed, but it's not the main issue: mostly there is the fact that at the end there are lots of discoveries, and one ask himself "How she never noticed it?? Or tried/discovered it??"
Well... but apart this the very ending it's satisfactory, in some way more adult-reasonable- compared with the ending of the first book.
