BETTER PHOTO!!:  New photo of the sea turtle from Maldives!


I was very thrilled at the idea of meet a sea turtle, but we all knew that it was difficult: because they were very shy and could heard us from distance and then shelter in deeper sea.

However the last day avaible for snorkeling (the only totally "free" from the little research/studies we had to do) we visited a desert island. Some people playing, some other tanning themselves (even if we were all a bit already tanned)

But many of us kept snorkeling all around the sea. It was there.. when the reef ends and start the open sea, that i turned from the reef and spotted that sea turtle ^^
I had just few seconds to make that (terrible) photo that it turned, my comrede tried to do a digital photo while i tried to do a second photo with my camera. But both these photo showed only the blue sea..
I think that the turtle was there for barely 20seconds, sort of..
It was a little specimen (surely not longer then a copybook) and i can't say if was a Caretta Caretta or a Green Turtle.

Well..
However in the (bad) photo you could observe the shield profile on the backdrop)
